How we work together
Stage one
Creating custom wood design is a collaborative and creative process, so the first step is meeting to discuss your vision; exploring ideas and concepts to grow on the initial design.
Whether you know exactly what you want or are open to suggestions, my priority is to understand your needs and requirements, while at the same time opening up creative options that you might not have considered.
Stage two
I prepare a first draft of drawings to give you a visual reference of the design. The nature of custom design is collaborative so any adjustments can be made until we reach an agreed-upon final draft.
At this stage I will let you know the project timeline and create a quotation based upon estimated time, cost of materials, construction and installation or delivery. Then, the woodworking process begins!
